Companies pay WhatsApp fees for each message, depending on the region and number of messages sent. Meta, which acquired WhatsApp in 2014, said companies cannot send messages to people on WhatsApp. The Green Logo messaging app will also offer optional paid features as part of a new premium service for WhatsApp Business users for small businesses.
WhatsApp Cloud API feature is still under development, but it includes options to manage chats across up to 10 devices. And customized click-to-chat links that companies can post to their websites and share with their customers.
We should remember that WhatsApp is a company and the main purpose of a company is to earn money. Till now there are not many options to generate revenue with WhatsApp Messaging Application. However, they are working on a new type of paid service to earn money.
