Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API to Cultivate Businesses
Messaging services are certainly in increasing demand from business users, and WhatsApp is one of the few platforms where the company frequently launches more shopping and business features. At the company’s “Conversations” event, Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the new service would be easily accessible to any business or developer.

Companies pay WhatsApp fees for each message, depending on the region and number of messages sent. Meta, which acquired WhatsApp in 2014, said companies cannot send messages to people on WhatsApp. The Green Logo messaging app will also offer optional paid features as part of a new premium service for WhatsApp Business users for small businesses.
WhatsApp Cloud API feature is still under development, but it includes options to manage chats across up to 10 devices. And customized click-to-chat links that companies can post to their websites and share with their customers.
